During seven days of reclusion in the Centro per Immigrati of Lampedusa, the detention of Bilal Ibrahim el Habin was not validated by any judge: notwithstanding that no citizen can be deprived of his freedom without the decision of a judge until maximum 48 hours. The immigrants, released on the evening of Friday, 30 September 2005, got the order – signed by the questore of Agrigento – to leave Italy until five days and a decree of forced expulsion from the Italian borders, escorted by the police.
